History
2005
Troyannfoods opened a small factory(120 squares) in KwaZulu Natal to process one ton of prawns a month
2007
Troyannfoods was already processing 10-15 tons of prawns a month.
We were listed on the Checkers database nationally.
2009-2012
2013
Troyannfoods became the sole Processor for Succulent Seafood -the seafood distributor for Pick and Pay nationally.
Troyannfoods Relocated to Western Cape and became the prawn processor for Blue Atlantic Seafoods
2014
Troyannfoods invested in our Elands bay factory, where we were introduced to West Coast Rock lobster. After a tumultuous start, we began meeting communities and bringing in their quota into our factory.
2015-2023
Troyannfoods had secured over 100 tons of lobster through their doors. With the combination of prawns and lobster processing, we can provide jobs 12 months a year. Furthermore, Troyannfoods was awarded two 15 year fishing rights, namely WCRL and Large Pelagics. We also increased our procurement base to cover the Northern and Southern parts of the Western Cape.
