BEE, FEMALE EMPOWERMENT &
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
TroyAnnFoods operates on the principles of 100% dedication to the cultivation of local bee populations, the ongoing empowerment of female individuals, and the sustainable development of communities.
FEMALE EMPOWERMENT
100% BEE
TroyAnn Foods proudly upholds a 100% BEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) structure, with 85% of our workforce consisting of youth and female employees, spanning from management to processors, and 1% representing individuals with disabilities. Our commitment to social upliftment is reflected in our staff composition, as we prioritize diversity and inclusivity, fostering an environment that promotes gender equality and empowers women at all levels within our organization. These women often serve as the sole providers for their extended families, amplifying our responsibility to impact the lives of more than 555 families residing in economically challenged communities.

COMMUNITY UPLIFTMENT
In the West Coast District Municipality area, skill shortages, sluggish economic growth, and electricity supply limitations are identified as major hindrances to employment growth, as stated in its Integrated Development Plan (IDP).
TroyannFoods is devoted to generating job prospects in the Elandsbay area. Collaborating intimately with community members, fishermen and governmental organizations, we strive towards enhancing economic empowerment. During seasonal lulls in fishing activity, we provide community members and fishermen with advances to ensure financial stability.
